Mandala I Pattern Series

The inspiration for this pattern started with a Columbine flower and evolved into a hand-painted abstract version that fits together with interesting ogees. While immersed in creating colorways, the motif began to shine in colors that reflect the Luna moth, a color that is one of my favorites. Although the design can readily be worked in any number of directions, this sampling shows a taste of what the range could include.
